Molaringo — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 5 October 2026
Molaringo ("we", "the app") helps people learn dental English. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
Controller: Dmitry Goltsev, Lübeck, Germany.
Contact: support@molaringo.com
What the app is (and is not)
Molaringo is an educational language app. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat anyone, and does not provide medical advice. Clinical content is reviewed by a dentist for language accuracy only. It is not a financial service. Purchases, when offered, are handled by Google Play.
What we collect
- Guest account: when you start without signing up, we create an anonymous account with a random identifier. It holds no email or name.
- Registered account: your email address and password, if you choose to save your progress. The password is stored hashed by our authentication provider, Supabase.
- Learning progress: completed lessons and exercises, scores, XP, streak, hearts and answer attempts.
- App preferences: your chosen interface language, stored on your device.
We do not collect health data, contacts, photos, location or advertising identifiers. We do not show ads and do not sell your data.
Why we use it
Only to provide the app: signing you in, saving and showing your progress, and improving lessons based on aggregated answer statistics. The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Who processes it
- Supabase — database, authentication and server functions for the app.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and forwards email sent to support@molaringo.com.
They process data on our behalf. We share data with no one else unless required by law.
Retention and deletion
- Your data is kept while your account exists.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes the account and all its progress.
- You can also request deletion by emailing support@molaringo.com.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, and to object to its processing. Email us to use any of these rights. You may also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in your country of residence.
Children
The app is intended for adult professionals and students and is not directed at children under 16.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and protected by row-level security, so each user can access only their own data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above.
